Flyers on the airline can soon use quick wifi during flights free of charge due to a new deal with SpaceX's satellite provider.

Complimentary plus Fast Wifi for All

The airline revealed that this complimentary, “fast and dependable” internet service from Starlink becomes available to passengers in coach, premium economy, or premium cabins as of soon.

Widespread Implementation Across Multiple Airlines

The umbrella organization for the airline, the airline group, announced it had secured an deal with the satellite firm for providing connectivity coverage across more than 500 aircraft within the group's airlines, which also include Aer Lingus, Iberia, and Vueling.

Uninterrupted Wifi from Boarding through Landing

British Airways stated that this introduction for this technology was part of a seven billion pound “modernization” initiative and will provide lag-free connectivity service to travelers starting at boarding to landing, even when traveling above large bodies of water or isolated areas.

Current Wifi Offerings
